Hello, I'm so sorry for not having enough time to share all my crochet projects with you lately, I've been very busy at work and with my kids also. Still I managed to crochet at least a little bit almost every day.Today I want to show you only one project which I am very proud of.
The picture is taken from Japanese book,  of course I cannot read Japanese,it's a pity, and at first I was quite sure I wouldn't be able to do everything properly without instructions so I was afraid of starting this project, though I liked it veeeeeeeeeery much. I decided one evening to try the pattern and was surprised with its simplicity,it didn't take much time to crochet 2 circles and the only thing left was to sew everything properly.
My top differs from the original one but  I just adore wearing it, thanks to the weather it's possible these days .
and my advice for all the hookers is-Nothing is impossible, all you need is some yarn, some patience and some time. You'll never be frustrated with the result-just try  making the thing you like even if you  don't know how you are supposed to do it. You'll have some difficulties may be at the beginning but the desired result is worth your efforts and time.
Happy hooking to you all,and I think I can share the pattern with you though it's not mine. Try it,it's really great

Italian Flower Shrug

6 colours, several evenings and Ta-Dah!!!! 51 little flowers turned into a very nice shrug.

I think I can post the pattern here, it was taken from the italian book, that's probably why I called this flower "Italian".
Try it , maybe you'll have some other ideas of how to use it.
Today we were having fun at the  kids' party, it was great not only to entertain but to be wearing the most colourful clothes,I'm so happy I managed to find time for 2 little vests and for my flower shrug.

African Flower

Thanks a lot to Heidi from here who taught me the pattern, her tutorial is absolutely wonderful, you have only to follow the step-by-step instructions and you will learn to crochet your african flowers in no time. Mine 21 were done very quickly, but may be I chose the wrong colours-very pastel or may be the last white row was not suitable,well-my flowers have been put off for several months before I managed to make something with them.

I took some brighter colours and added one more row to each flower.

They became as I  wanted them to be, but a  little too big.

I used 14 flowers to make a little vest for my Pretty

And the rest 7 made a scarf to go with the vest, I should only make
a scarf border and TA-DAH, the african flower set is ready to wear.

My favourite grey

I adore grey colour, all its shades, dark and light, grey is always enormously charming and absolutely magnificent colour.I have quite a lot of grey clothes in  my wardrobe, all can be easily mixed  with any other colours. I think I will take all the photos of my "greys" sometime and share them with you. We are having nasty weather these days, no sun, strong wind's blowing and everything seems to go wrong, besides I caught bad cold and I'm  quite sure I'll have to spend several days in bed. I took some new grey wool yarn and after some experiments I found the pattern, gave it a try, and at this very moment I am busy making a new grey cardigan. This will be a nice present for my mother-in-law who cannot herself neither crochet nor knit but likes all the handmades very much.
The yarn is 70% wool of rather good quality, very soft. I am not following any instructions, this time the design is absolutely mine. The pattern is  quick as you have to repeat only one row all the time so I hope soon the new "Mr Grey"will be finished.
Some friends of mine visited Norway last week and look what I have got

10 balls of pure merino wool, made by Norwegian Raumagarn, absolutely luxurious and......well, it's rather expensive, probably that's the very first time that I have this kind of yarn. The colours are great also, I'm just OvErJoYed!!!! No more words, I'll find some idea how to use it the best way, but only after I finish some started projects.
Have a nice  crocheting weekend

Flowery hexagon

These are my first ever crocheted hexagons. I am thrilled with the pattern I have found here, it's great for the hex beginners like me. They give very clear written  pattern which is absolutely free. I think I'll make a vest for my Little Lady, don't know. The colours I chose are pastel, light pink and yellow and green make my hexes  very flowery. The pattern is really easy though I also have to  consult the join-on-the go tutorial for the fifth row which Lucy was so kind to share.
These days we are very upset and sorry for people in Japan, hopefully they'll overlive those catastrophes,I wich I could help.

Granny Square Skirt

I once came across this idea and decided I had to crochet my own skirt. So, some yarn leftovers and some time spent and this is the result
I don't like wearing skirts very much but it seems this one is going to be my favourite. Thanks a lot to a  very talented american lady. I'm thinking now of making a summer skirt and a top, these are the ideas found somewhere I don't even know where.
